"After my sessions with you Puna I felt lighter in the soul, and more equipped to deal with every day issues that built up on me.
Thank you for the insight which allowed me to realise what was truly important, a great gift, and the practical strategies which put a lot of things into context."

Puna has been my external supervisor for a year now and in that time I
have always found her to be a very good listener who gives practical
sound advise on how to deal with dificult situations. I feel that
since meeting Puna I have grown immensly, she has taught and inspired
my to become a much more effective Team Leader than I was before. Puna
has also taught me that it's OK to go with my own gut feeling and to
believe in myself, and to be proud of my achivements.
Puna ran a workshop for our team and all the staff commented to me
afterwards what a fantastic person Puna was and how she had made them
all feel that they could go much further with their own personal
development.
Puna really does inspire everyone.

I have known Puna for approximately 18 months in both a professional and personal capacity. I meet with Puna regularly for external supervision and she is this amazing person that adopts a cause or can pursue new interests she is guaranteed to be highly committed to.
By example, Puna taught me not only the value of helping others, but the importance of loyalty and commitment. Puna is also a problem solver, much thought goes into the things she does, and she has an unusual ability to notice what others overlook. The support from Puna is of high quality and her extreme commitment is to help and support all those that she comes in contact with, also the spiritual connection. The quality of her support is so high that I have recommended others to her. I would certainly recommend Puna for any task where enthusiasm, hard work and trustworthiness are valued.

I have had the pleasure of working very closely with Puna for about eighteen months. Within this timeframe Puna has been my external supervisor but most of all, my mentor. Puna has supported me to grow in many different ways. Achieve the goals I want to achieve and never to doubt myself with my ability to take on the world and to challenge those norms in society.
As a new grad student and new social worker into the field of social services, Puna has been a great mentor. She has given me many different tools to work with and how to manage my work load and my personal life. Been Polynesian is a bonus for Puna and I, because we can relate to one another on many different levels.
I also enjoy working with Puna because she makes me think outside the square and helps me see what I could be in five years. She is very supportive of my work and never doubts me in my ability to achieve.

My name is Alaina , I currently work as a Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS nurse). For the past two years I had been receiving supervision from Puna Poaru to deliver personal clinical supervision by my former employers. Clinical supervision entailed detailed documentation on my patient caseload, professional practice in the workplace, practical implementation of clinical skills, on-going training/career development in field of expertise. I found that I was able to discuss difficult cases and personal issues in a confidential, professional and inspiring environment. Puna is a lady who motivates and stimulates you to look at your practice (in the workplace) but also your personal life, Puna encourages you to find solutions for yourself with her support.
